A DBA or Fictitious Business Name Statement is required when a Sole Proprietor or Corporation is doing business under a name that is different from the Corporation name or Sole Proprietor's name. You may search under either the Corporation name or DBA.
The default view is a listing of all active businesses.
This section has quick links to the most common requests for data. Just click on the one you need and the results will display.
If you are looking for something specific, you can use the filtering options. The most common fields to filter on are listed. Type in a value, a list of values separated by commas, or even a partial value. Click the Filter button or just hit enter when you are through typing. The results will display in the data section.
Click on the Advanced Search button and a search form will display on the screen. This includes additional fields to search on. Enter your criteria and then hit enter or click on the Go button in the top right corner.
Click on the download option and you will see choices for PDF, Excel Spreadsheet, or data. The data option will download a comma separated values (CSV) text file. The download process will depend on which browser you are using.
